Is it bad to not wash my hair tonight if I went swimming in a chlorine pool?

i don’t want the chlorine to hurt/ruin my hair, but i took a shower before i swam. will it do anything to my hair if i just take a shower tomorrow? :D

It won’t do any permanant damage if you just want to wait until tomorrow to wash it out - as long as your hair is not blonde or light brown. If your hair is light the chlorine is going to turn it green if its not washed out.

If you have dark hair you can wait until tomorrow but be sure to condition your hair really good after washing it since chlorine dries your hair out pretty bad.

i dont think it is. The chlorine could damage your hair but when i was young i never washed my hair after i went swimming and never faced any hair damage from it

i do have blonde hair, but iv’e never had that problem with the green in my hair. but it’s not really blonde, it’s a light brown like u said

Don’t you shower in the locker room when you get out of the pool? That rinse should be enough to get most of the chlorine out.

if u went to a swimming pool with chlorine u better just when u finish swimming go n wash ur hair with the shampoo n if u cud a conditioner that wud moisten ur hair n not damage it
