Was it too soon to take it???

My best friend tooked a pregnancy test today and it has been about 7 days befor she had sex with her boyfriend and she told me that she was bleeding very little and very light and I told her it was maybe a sign of pregnancy because ahe told me never told me that ever happened to her… But the thing is that it came out negative was it too soon are was it the right anwer??? It was a home pregnancy test and the brand was from dollar tree… And if it helps she had sex about a week after her peroid!!! Thankz much!

well, the time period she had sex would be about right to get her pregnant. However, if she was bleeding she might of had a defected fertilized egg, which is in a sense a misscarriage except that there was really a baby, just that something was wrong with the sperm and/or egg that caused her to miscarry, because the baby couldnt develop properly. (this happened to me. ) it could also mean that she wasnt pregnant. have her take a test again just to be sure. How young is she? Because she is more likely to miscarry the younger she is. (I was 15 when I miscarried)
