How soon after sex or a missed period can you take a pregnancy test?
some of the higher end ones will show 5 days after you miss... others could take more than a week... The one thing that may have happened if you think you've missed your period is that it has changed. a lot of my girlfriends used to be regular untill they started having sex a lot. Wait 5 or six days and still no period... Take the test!!
Wait around 5 days after your missed period. Most tests are more accurate then. Taking them too early could cause false negatives. If you go to your Doctor for a blood test, you could take the test earlier than you would a home pregnancy test.
A store bought one, when you miss your period is the best time but if you get a blood test by your doctor you could go like a week later.
