How do I give a vote of thanks speech which involves a lot of people and dignitsries
Agree with jixt. One easy way out is to start (stand straight, take a deep breath) by saying, 'Distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen...' , cast your glance slowly over the audience, and then give your speech. That usuaully covers the lot.
Even if there are hundreds of people present, try for eye contact with a few. Speak slowly - if you're nervous it's natural to speak too fast and at a higher pitch, and that is unpleasant for the audience. And don't be afraid to smile.
Good luck!
When giving a speech that involves many dignitaries start with the one who has the highest rank then to the lowest and then deliver your speech. All the best. Jixt
