  1. Start with a clean slate. Make sure that your face is as squeaky clean as possible. If you don’t, you could be setting yourself up for disaster with applying makeup to a dirty face, which will most likely absorb the makeup and oils into the pores, and cause possible breakouts.

    1. After you make sure that your face is absolutely clean, the oils are gone, and there is no dead skin anywhere, apply foundation. You want foundation that matches your skin tone, not something that only makes your face pale-looking.

    2. Concealer! Okay, some people have really bad dark circles. It would be best to cover these with something not too light, because if it’s too light, it’ll attract attention there, and it won’t look natural. Just try something that’s possibly a little lighter than your foundation. If you have no concealer, it’s recommended to just use foundation to the best of your ability.

    3. Now, when you’re done with everything, powder it down! If you don’t, within half the day your foundation with have gone and absorbed into your pores, and it won’t show. So! Hold it there by lightly dusting your face with some powder, about the same color as your foundation.

    4. Now for your eyes. With this, you can be really creative. At first, you’ll want to take the pencil eyeliner and line the top lid of your eye. If you want to make fully black lined lids, then go over most of your top lid with liquid eyeliner, covering the shape of your eye.

    5. When you’re done with that, add a fun shadow to your eyes, whether you want it to match what you’re wearing or whatever you think is good by lining the outer part of the black, most likely on top.

    6. If you shave your eyebrows, draw them in at this point. Try to make them accentuate your face to the best of your ability, whether they are full brows or slants.

    7. Now, if you’d like, you can apply stickers, gems, or false eyelashes. Remember not to use too much eyelash glue. Make sure the decals are secured.

    8. Finally, the lips. If you want, you can line them with a dark shade to make your lips look full. Shading is a good makeup technique, you have to put the darkest shade near the corners of your mouth. Gradually as you near the center, it should lighten to whatever lip shade you’re wearing - or your natural lip colour.

  2. Now, you’re done with your makeup, and you can go change into your clothing and do your hair!
