Turn back computer time for virus?
ok my dad had a virus about a yr ago and told me that you can turn the days back on your computer to get rid of the virus.well about 6 months ago on my computer I had a virus and my dad turned my computer back 4 days well I got a virus today and I need to turn the days back but I dont know how because my dad never actually showed me but I only have about 10 min to do before the computer brings up a message telling me my computer has shut down because the virus what do I do to turn the days back but I have to do it 1:30 am when my dad gets home from work!please help and be quick please!=[
I am thinking that your dad used the restore point on the computer to put it back like it was 4 days ago instead of just turing back the actual clock on the computer. I just go to Start, Search, type in system restore and click on all files and folders, then double click on the system restore. Once that comes up you can choose to Restore my computer at a earlier time.
Click on the time in the lower right hand corner and press change date
