i had one… it died though :/ but they have this distinct smell only certain bugs smell, like flys and bees etc. and the bug will land on it and if it hits the sharp brissles on the plant the plant will close quickly, and start to foam the bug until it is liquid and get eaten. i guess the plant takes in the nutritions from the bug, along with the soil on the ground.
you can also feed it raw meat:D my sister had one but then my little sisters, like, over fed it and it died :/ :)
