Is my VCH piercing starting to reject?

I got my VCH (Vertical clitoris hood) piercing about a month ago. I’ve been putting H2ocean on the piercing area everyday. The first week it burned and stung a lot when I’d wash with warm water in the shower and when I would need to use the bathroom. It stopped after a while and started to seem to get better. Well, for the past week and a half it has been burning like crazy whenever I pee and whenever I put H2ocean on it! I just recently ended my period, I don’t know if the piercing got irritated by that or something. The piercing and area has no pus, no smell and it itches like crazy but it’s red around the top of the piercing area and it looks a little swollen. Like I said, I have been keeping it very clean, I clean it twice a day with the H2ocean and clean in the shower so I don’t see how it could be infected at this point. Plus itching is suppose to be a sign of healing. It’s very sore and tender feeling when I wipe after using the bathroom. It hurts for a long time after I wipe and it burns like crazy when I use H2ocean, which is weird because it’s never done that before until recently. Is it rejecting…? I’m about ready to take out the bar in it. I don’t want to, but this is bothering me. I don’t know what to do.

You may have gotten a urinary tract or kidney infection if your pee burns. The itching- on the piercing itself- is a positive sign of healing and if the very edge of the actual wound is red that means your immune system is responding to it and is healing around the intrusion that is your new piercing. You should probably see a doctor for professional advice on this issue.
