Tuberculosis skin test, hurt or not??

does getting a tb (tuberculosis) skin shot hurt? or not? I have to get one monday so help..

my brother said it only hurts if it hits a vein, but the year I was due one they canceeled them because there isnt a high risk in england my friend was tested as a kid because she lives on a farm but she was immune

Its nothing like surgery! Its a shot that you get in your arm. It will swell up but dont touch it, its supposed to do that. After about two days you go back to the doctor, and if nothing is there your good. It is nothing like having surgery! lol. Its more like a shot. And thats why it kinda hurts.

No. But be careful because hitting them does make them swell.

No, they don’t hurt at all. I had to get one when I worked at a day care.

Its a shot but no different then any other shot, I have to get one every year. Really nothing to worry about.
