If you barely know someone but you think that they are a good person by the way they act at school, would it be kind of wierd to tell them things that you dont even tell your “close friends”?
No - they may indeed be a very good, moral person who wouldn’t tell - just share a little bit at first so you can ascertain if they’re truly trustworthy.
Well, you might think you know this person, but then they could turn around and tell everyone you’re darkest secrets. +& It could totally backfire with you’re closest friends not wanting to trust you after you found you couldn’t confied in them.
My advice, get to know them first!
people tell me random things all the time. honestly I have no idea why… but it’s not weird… I like listening, I want to become a counselor so I can help, so hey, if it makes them feel better, whatever… I’m glad they talked to someone… and sometimes its easier talking to a stranger than someone you’re really close to…
