Yes it is true that birth control can lessen your periods. I’m not quite sure if there’s certain ones; I figured any brand of birth control would lessen your periods, but you should probably do more research about it to be sure.

Yes its for periods to, a lot of the birthcontrols help with crampin and such, so try and use that info to ur advantage

99% of birth controls lighten, shorten and regulate your period. However, some allow just 4 periods a year, and some make it go away all together. Talk to your doctor!

oh woow, yeaah. How much does it cost? like someone told me theres was it was like $100 because they had to take tests every time too or something?

I’m not sure about the cost, I had gotten the depo shot b4 I had my tubes tied so not sure on the price, and I didn’t have to take a test everytime, they ask if ur active and if u say yes they do a pregnancy test b4 the give the pills or shot

When I was on Nuvaring, the doctor told me that I could just leave it in to skip my period altogether. I decided it out after three weeks just to keep a regular cycle.

i know a few ppl on depo and it took it completely away. the birth control im on makes its lighter and significally shorter.

my doctor is tellin me to take it to regulate my periods.

its a really good idea i did cuz mine only came every three months, now i can pretty much guess when its coming and keep track of everything such as being aware not to be sexual active etc. it has alot of benefits if you ask me.

Yes, many birth controls can do it to you. I have heard of women not getting their periods at all after being on the depo shot. Each woman is different though, go to your doctor’s and ask him about it.

i do know some birth control pills regulate your period too… have used 1. for my period irregularity
