how could i treat boils && bumps under my armpits?

is their a certain deodorant you would recommend ?

Try going for a natural deodorant, cause i’ve gotten large painful bumps when i use certain ones. I dont know what kind of stores you have there but trader joes makes a good one. http://funadvice.com/r/3kc3o102qt is a good one as well :)

This can be an actual disease that needs treatment (do you get them in the groin area, as well?)…It’s called Hidradinitis Suppurativa…and is caused by the thyroid. Maybe get blood workup at the Dr., it might cure you rather than just help the “symptoms”.

It could be ingrown hairs from shaving. Warm compresses help. Boil ease. That’s all I can think of other than what has already been said.

Unfortunately this is an area of large amounts of irritation, caused by the constant friction. There are some things you can do. First, you can switch deodorants, try a non-perfumed, alnatural deodorant. Second, (this one is gross for women) you can stop shaving, try shaving only every 10-14 days. Third, you can tape dry, surgical gauze to your underarm area. This will drastically reduce the amount of irritation in that area. Finally, there is a product called bump-be-gone (actual name). It is widely used by African Americans, especially by men, who are prone to ingrown hairs after shaving their face. I hope this helps.
