A&D Ointment…

If you got red ink you may be having an allergic reaction. DO NOT USE A & D on a tattoo unless you want that tattoo to have to be redone after the A & D pulls up a lot of the ink. Go to your artist and ask. It can be many things causing a recation, harsh soaps, perfumes, cologne, lotion, ink reaction, hair dye, ect. It is best to go ask a professional that can take a look at it and answer your question. On-line help will not help you all that much.

bacitracin helped with my tattoo. just use a little bit every few hours and if it look greasy right after you put it on you used too much

Answer #4

If it doesnt go away after applying neosporin or some sort of wax then go to the doctor immediately. You could be alergic to the ink (usually red or blue ink) and you need to catch it early. Otherwise they will have to perform surgery and cut off the whole chunkof skin where the ink was injected… Dont meant to scare you but I’d rather you be safe than sorry.
