Tongue Web Piercing vs. The Dentist

Hey guys! Well, my step-dad hates the idea of any form of body mod. and hence rejected my idea of piercing my tongue web. However, my mom said she would sign for me to get it done professionally (because she knows I’d just do it anyway). But, when my step-dad takes us to the dentist, it’s certain the dentist will notice. Will he say anything? Or should I just take it out before I go? Opinions, please. =]

Well, I was talking to my dentist’s assistant and she said that she can tell. It chips your teeth and wears down your enamel. It is VERY ovious to dentist.

to be safe I’d take it out before you went. but more than likely your dentist wont say anything.. but your dad will probably eventually see it anyway.. good luck

you shouldnt do it yourself, and im sure you still dont know all the risks youd be taking do get it done profesionally depending on how soon the dentist apointment is you probably wont be able to take it out youll need to leave it in for a while so it can heal, dont attept to take it out or change it he will obviously notice he mnight oir might not say anything if he does itll probably just be something about how it could rub against your teeth and damage them, ect your dad cant really take it out your mouth though just tell him you got it done and your keeping it…whatever you want

take it out before you get there, and if he notices anytink, docter pacient confildentailty so be in place
