I love piercings. I have why lobe 4x, cartaledge, tragus, industrial, nose & belly button. since im not allowed to get ny tongue pierced till im 18 I was thinking about my tongue web. how should I bring it up to my mom? what does it feel like? what do you have to do for after care? is there a high risk of rejection?
I love piercings too, they're awesome! If you want a tongue web piercing, go for it! When your 18, your mom can't really do all that much about it. Besides, if you've got all the other piercings, I really don't think she'd care about one more. Just tell her when you turn 18, you want to have your tongue web done. The pain will depend on how much pain you can personally handle. It won't be unbearable so I'm sure you can handle it without a problem. You can talk to the piercer about aftercare. They'll know all the best stuff to set you up with so that you take care of it right. Usually tongue webs don't start rejecting until about 6 months, but it could happen sooner. You can ask the piercer about what exact time frames you can expect it to start happening.
