Do I need to be good looking to be an actor?

yes, most actors/actresses are gorgeous, but not all. I think as long as you’ve got the talent and are able to give the people what they want, you’ll do fine no matter what you look like. unless you’ve got like, two heads, that might be a little weird

Look at some of the best actors out there right now. Not all of them are brilliant looking fellows. For example, one of my favorite and amazingly talented actors, Tom Hanks. Now he’s not the most attractive guy on the planet, but he is one talented actor. He does a great job in all of his movies and has a great range. Don’t let something so surperficial ruin it for you. Acting is an art, it’s about the talent, it’s about elaborate expression. Go for it! =)
