  According to the tips page, they are: Tips are little gems of advice and information that help people in their everyday lives. Great tips should:  1. Surprise and delight the person reading it :-) 2. Be not widely known 3. Must be useful and practical 4. You get points if people like your tips! To write one, go onto the tips page. You will find it under the more tab and click on Submit your tip :)
