Is there a time where rapid cycle bipolar people feel normal?

Like not experiencing depression or mania? And is mania always like you feel unstoppable or can it be rage? Or is rage part of depression? Can bipolar people experience like one mood swing thats really bad a day? Or is it usually over a period of time?

Is there a time where rapid cycle bipolar people feel normal, like not experiencing depression or mania? This depends, but yes a lot of people have “normal” days

And is mania always like you feel unstoppable or can it be rage? Mania can be a lot of things, that euphoric feeling of “I can do anything” or it can be rage (there are a lot of symptomsof mania)

or is rage part of depression? In all the research I’ve done I’ve never seen rage as part of depression, it takes way too much energy to have rage and most depressed people simply dont have that energy. Irritability is one of the symptoms, but not rage…

can bipolar people experience like one mood swing thats really bad a day? or is it usually over a period of time? I’m not sure about this one, how fast can you cycle between the mood states? I’ll ask and get back to you…

and lanternoflight is right, medication can help normalize those days…

this is the easiest example I can give ya…

  • _ + Depression Mania

You can be in the middle at any time and feel competely normal. Mania can be rage, the feeling of being unstopable, extreme energy, unusual sexual desires and experiences, drug use and excessive spending and buying things…anything that gives you that “high” at the moment and you might not even realize that you are doing it and might not even think that it is wrong until you are somewhere in the middle or so called “normal stage” of the cycle. Rage can come from both mania and depression and you can never predict mood swings nor how often, frequent, and intense they will be.

Answer #3

Rapid Cycling Bipolar refers to the occurrence of at least four episodes of depression and mania within a year.

So, to answer your question, it’s over a period of time

Answer #4

Bi Polar is mood swings.

You are happy one minute, the next minute your upset or your crying - its almost best described as an uncontrolable sensation of moods. You can have several mood swings a day for months on end with a few great days in between or you can never have a good day.

It depends on the severity.

Answer #5

My dad is bi polar. We didnt know until about 2 years ago. He used to go into fits of rage when something didnt go his way. He would be really happy one minute then someone would say something and he would go off. I used to say that I got wall to wall consuling(sp). He is on medication now, and he is so much better. With the right thearpy and the right medication a bi-polar person can be as normal as everyone else.
