This is a toughy...

ok… so I’m 13 and there’s this boy I like in 7th grade, even though I’m in 8th. we have sssooo much in common, and just recently we had a “personal-ish” conversation on aim. BUT, uno problemo (one problem lol): he has liked one of my best friends for over a year, and he was telling me how much he loved her and she doesn’t love him back. I was actually dealing with it very well. and then he told me I was the only person that knew abt him liking her, which was so sweet of him, so I actually started crying (in a good way). then I told him that I was crying and he said “why? for being a good friend?”, which made it even worse. I swear he act likes he likes me but maybe that’s just him. I’m confused lmao. help!! =D

Answer #1

I agree with both of you answers actually. I want to think of him more as a brother now, but its complicated if I like him more as a boyfriend. ill figure it out. thx for the help lol

Answer #2

I’ve had the same experience and it worked out my way as planned.

if you really like him then first you convince him to ask your friend out. if she says no then give him a good friendly “talk”. he should then feel a bond stronger than normal friendship. if this is how he acts then ask him out.

if your friend says yes to him , then you shouldnt have a problem if you trily like him.

I’m thinking he just sees you as a friend. If he told you that then obviously he has stronger feelings for your friend. I think he sees you as a caring friend he can go to and talk about anything. Sorry mate :\

Answer #4

ok, im in pretty much the same sitch, actually I was reading this and up until the 3rd line im like “ok, is this nicole?” because we kinda had a “personal” talk on aim also, blah, blah, blah, kinda creepy. neway, I think that just talk 2 him, get as close 2 him as possible, and eventually he will bcum like a brother and you wont like him as a boyfriend, or he’ll eventually like u.

Answer #5

thx. its nice to know somebody that’s having the same problem :P

Answer #6

and flaming chicken is a failure cus that would not work out well, you should just be patient and get as close to him as possible and eventually he’ll probably end up giving up on her and take a closer look at you
