Who thinks it's ridiculous that black people bleach their skin?

Yea but I just so wish I could have their skin and it’s like why would you wanna change it?

Always wanting what you don’t have. Well, it’s human nature in the end, right?

Same reason why girls with naturally straight hair want curly hair, and girls with naturally curly want straight hair….human nature…

I didn’t know that “black” people bleached their skin, the only person I know of is Michael Jackson, but he had a skin disease…so he had a reason to. Is it in “style” now to bleach your skin or something?

Its not ridiculous. but you see people out there who may not have great skin and you think like WOW because there confidence in themselves show that they like the way they are and you see people who bleach there skin and everythings gone wrong and then it could be worse than it was b4. I think you should be confident who you are it doesnt matter about your apperance coz if you didnt look like how you are you wouldnt be you, Everyone is unique in their ways

I think everyone has pretty much answered this question. And of course, there’s the element of white being the standard of beauty, as Western culture spreads, people world round have begun to buy into the western ideals of beauty. You seen increases in eating disorders, attempts to look more white, etc.

It is crazy but as humans we always want what we dont/cant have

right.
