Who thinks its crazy/stupid for a woman to get her tubes tied at 25?

it doesn’t matter what people think really cause its you thats getting your tubes tied not them so you have to be ok with it

i agree… With that said…you seriously have to think long & hard before you make a decision like this…it has to be your decision & your significant others decision. If you seriously feel like 2 is all you will ever want then go for it…or try another approach. There is band you can get on to stop you from getting pregnant so you wont have to get your tubes tied if you decide all of a sudden that you want another baby at 30-35…it happens…sometimes people change their mind & it is too risky later on! What is the rush to get your tubes tied in the first place? I would also suggest checking other ways with your gynecologist…with today’s technology you dont have to go so drastic to stop from getting pregnant again. Weight your options but in the end its your decision…your body…

i dont think there is anything wrong with it. if someone doesnt agree with what your doing with YOUR body then they can go die in a hole!!(not literally) haha

I don’t think it is crazy. It actually makes me angry to hear people have that mind set. It is OUR BODIES and your body, you should have full control over what happens to it and whether you want to continuing reproducing.

i think it’s stupid but depends on the persons situation…if they have 4/5 kids already then yes, but if not then no.

I don’t think 25 is too young. If you feel like 2 kids is enough for you, and your fiance is okay with it, I don’t see the problem. And like Colleen said, you can always get them removed if you ever change your mind in the future. They should be proud that you are taking precautions.. My mom had my brother, myself and my little sister. After the divorce, she got her tubes tied.. 10 years later, she met the love of her life, reversed it, and had another baby. It doesn’t have to be permanent if you don’t want it to be. :)

I think it’s fine. It’s your body and your decision. I wish some people were as smart about this stuff. I work with women in their early 20s who’ve permanently lost 4 or 5 kids because of abuse or neglect and are still having more kids! If anything, I think that’s crazy/stupid.

I don’t. It’s all her disicion i mean is all about what she wants… some people just don’t want kids, they are just not ment to be perents and that is ok. Is what she wants not what everbody else does.

No. Although if it was me, I would be sending my partner in for a vasectomy instead because the surgury is less complicated and its more easily reversed. But if you are done having children, its not a stupid idea at all.

I don’t think so. I think its your dicision and if you dont want anymore kids then its fine but if you do want more you can just untie them.
