i had my tubes clamped at 28… no different after… you are a little young to have this done, just make sure you are doing the right thing.

Dear tntinc5, 23 is very young to get your tubes tied. Usually the doctor will wait until you’ve had children and are older. But if this is something you are considering then the side effects should be the same for 23 as 32. It is an intrusive surgery so there can always be complications. There should be no side effects to this surgery other then recovery time with the normal down time. This procedure has also known to fail so testing afterwards is a good idea. Sue…good luck
