Does thick hair look better long or short?

I think it can look good either way, depending on how you style it and how well you take care of it. I have long, thick hair and I think it looks good and full that way, so long as I condition it and use a product to keep it healthy and shiny. I tried to wear my hair short but that was before I took care of it, and it was a hot mess of frizz (seriously, I had an afro). My friend has hair that’s thick like mine and chopped it off, she has incredibly healthy, shiny hair and it looks gorgeous short and styled.

i guess its better longer..i have thick hair and when i shortened it, i had a hard time…

I would say longer..

I think for a women it looks better no longer than her shoulders ‘cause thick hair tends to frizzle and split if not taken care of religiously and that is a tall order in this day and age when 5 hours sleep is a battle to get…and when the wind hooks it you’ll scare kids and critters…LOL

i think long is better.

Thick hair, as I do too. I would say better long. Cause if you have it short to your neck you have all this hair surrounding your fair, that it can prob get to be a bit too much, plus you have more hair styles to work with, and there is only so much you can do with short hair. Having your hair long def has it’s advantages!!

It depends. My sister has very thick hair and she cut it short like a boy’s and it looks AMAZING because she has the facial features to pull it off..I also have SUPER thick hair but I like to wear it long and layered because mine is curly and if I cut it short it would be an afro…but some people like afros xD idk, with curly thick hair I’d generally stay about shoulder length or longer…with straigh thick hair it shouldn’t matter too much, just go with your features.

long, if you cut it too short, it might look kinda like an umbrella, trust me i would know. my hair is extremely thick, and curly, i cut it to my shoulders and now i have to straiten everyday until it grows back

my hair is super thick and to me, either both can look good or crazy.
