Can you text overseas on your iPod Touch without it charging?

It has nothing to do with the type of phone you use, it depends on what type of plan you have with your cellular provider. Either find your contract and find out if it chrages or you can call 611 from your phone and talk to a customer service representative and find out if its covered in your plan.

My ipod touch doesn’t have a plan or cell provider. Its an app that allows me to text for free, but I don’t know if it would work or be free if it was to a different country.

I dont think you can text overseas without paying for the difference with roaming & such, but your best bet is to ask your providers if it costs & how much for future reference.

Is it textplus? Cuz I text my ex from textplus all the time, and he lives in Cali and that’s free : / I’m not sure if that’s overseas or not. But how would it be able to charge you if you didn’t give them your credit card number or something?

it is text plus. But of course, my itunes account has my credit card number, etc. and im not sure that they couldnt use that.
