Should I tell my Mom I've had sex?

I want to tell my mom that i had sex for the first time but when i told her that i wanted to talk to her about something but she could not get mad and she could not tell my dad she said “If i have to keep it from your dad then it will probably make me mad as well so I’m not so sure i want to know” What should i do? Should i tell her or keep it to myself?

First, answer this: Why do you want to tell your mom?

You cannot ask your mother not to get mad and not to tell your father. That is unfair and unreasonable. He is your father and her husband. She cannot keep secrets. As far as getting angry…why would be be angry? Are you too young? DOes she dislike the boy or believe it’s a bad relationship? In those cases, she is right to be angry, doesn’t she? She wants the best for you. Being angry is just a word to describe other emotions–sadness, disappointment, worry, fear.

Personally, I believe it’s okay not to tell her as long as you are ALL THREE of these things: over 16, with a good guy, and using condoms and bith control responsibly.

I wouldn’t tell my parents. but then again thell find out so if you tell them tell them that your useing protection. they wont get mad at you if you know how to use condoms.

1st how old are you? if you are under 18 dont tell her, why should you? its only going to cause more dramas for yourself. Now that she nos you are sexually active she is going to be watching every move you make trying to prevent you from having sex. This is something private so its best to keep it to yourself.

I never told my parents…never needed to, they knew they raised me right, so no worries for them.

It depends on your parents…if you feel she should know, then tell her. If you are a girl, you should tell her. If you are a guy…well she probably wouldn’t ever let you and that girl be alone together again.
