How can I tell my Mom I had sex?

I’m scared to tell my mom i had sex. I’m only 15 and i think she will flip. How do I tell her?

Honestly, you shouldnt have to tell them. It is your buisness. If you want to, just make sure she wont feel too uncomfortable about it. your parents cannot control your feeling towards abstaining, and how long you should abstain for. I would just make sure that you know what you are doing when you have sex. Stay protected, and make sure you really care about the person.

I was 15 when I lost my virginity. I did not tell anyone in my family until about a year later, however they didn’t know I was 15 when I lost it. I didn’t want to make them feel like they “failed” as parents or anything but I also felt bad for keeping it from them. My advice is this: If she asks you then be honest with her. I have learned that it is ALWAYS better to be honest because the consequences are far less severe if you tell the truth first. Getting caught in a lie leads to lack of trust. So, as long as you are being safe and taking care of yourself, I don’t believe you need to bring up the subject with her. However, if she asks then just be honest with her.

It is your private buisness, no one ever needs to know. It’s a personal matter and is something that should be special for you, why would you ruin it by telling.
