Tanning help

YES you have to wear lotion. If you don’t, you won’t tan, you’ll just burn. They usually have automatic timers.. You’re supposed to wear goggles, but I couldn’t stand them…but I don’t think they loan them. They’re only a few bucks though.

it depends where you tan to get goggles , sometimes you have to pay , sometimes you don’t , since it’s your first time , you should not wear lotion , and you should wear your under garments or a 2 piece bathing suit . Ask the person that owns the tanning salon how to turn it on and set the timer . P.s - you don’t want to exceed 8 minutes since it’s your first time , it takes a little bit for your skin to get used to the heat , good luck ! - kaytee :)

I suggest wearing lotion, it keeps the skin moisturized..so it doesnt dry out and burn. goggles are usually 99 cents or 2$. very cheap…and they have an auto timer, just tell them how long you want to do it. I was scared the first time too loll but it will shut off when its over. so you dont burnn…

thanks guyz for the help! :) does it matter what kind of lotion I use because I heard if you just use normal lotion that it wont work. but I really dont want to invest in tanning lotions. and im going to this place that my younger sister goes to she bought 2 months but is away on a trip in austria so she said I can use hers. so when I go into the place im suposed to be her so I cant really ask how to use the machine because if they think im her they already think ill know how to use it because she goes so much. so im very nervous that I wont be able to turn the stuff on and how do I lay in the bed is there a special way.? is there enough room to move around??

I say get in there naked, no lotion. That way all your skin cells are exposed and ready for a healthy dose of radiation.

if you are going to pretend to be your sister then the time they put you in there for will depend on how long her last time was. If she has already built her way up to 20 mins.( the max time allowed) , then they will put you in for 20 mins which will be way to long. YOU WILL BURN if you dont already have a really , really good base tan. I don’ t suggest you try to pretend to be your sis for this reason. Also if she goes to this tanning bed all the time, then the workers are going to know who she is and that you are not her!! The people at my tanning place know everyone by first name and call them by there name.

She just bought it 2 days ago and shes at a new tanning place then she usually goes too. We both look very much alike and talk very similar. Also I am a little darker then she is ( iguess you can say I got more of the italian genes) haha
