How do you talk your mom, (who thinks piercings in the face are discusting), into letting you get snakebites and your nostril done?

Sorry but as long as your a minor and living under her roof, if she doesnt want you to have them your not going to. There usually isnt any convincing seeing as how most older people can not stand facial piercings because they feel it makes you look unrespectable.

Snake bites with ruin your teeth. In two years you will be taking them out anyways due to receeding gum line, enamel wear, and cavities. She has every right not to let you wreck your teeth, at least until youre 18 an an adult. Lindsey’s answer was great. That’s what I had to do for a few of my piercings.

I asked my mum, she said no so I said “i’ll pay for them ^^” and she was like “okay” and ended up paying for 3 labrets, and a tongue piercing for moi hehe :}

at your age its no wonder she wont let you get them, there not really attractive on children, and there unessesary. also your not aware of how ugly those permanent scars are once you take them out, and at your age our almost guarenteed to get sick of them in a few years. take it form me, ive had over 30 piercings, all done when i was young, and now i have ugly permanent scars. especially from geting my eyebrows, monroe/madonna and lips done, the scars are still there, so are the indents and i took them out over 4 years ago. this is what youll be left with, and they wont look pretty. your young, wait a few more years at least before deviding on anything, make sure YOU want it as well. and if your trying to convince your mum, doing housework for a week wont cut it, try saying youll promise to get good grades for an entire year, and then she MIGHT consider
