Can anyone tell me the symtoms of post-partum depression for pregnant women?

If I even spelled that right. I think I am experiencing this. I have a bad depression problem anyway. I used to have to take Prozac for this, because I was emotionally unstable. I need someones help…please. All is appreciated.

Depression after child birth is called postpartum depression. Depression is a common problem during and after pregnancy.

Symtoms of depression:

*  Feeling restless or moody
* Feeling sad, hopeless, and overwhelmed
* Crying a lot
* Having no energy or motivation
* Eating too little or too much
* Sleeping too little or too much
* Having trouble focusing or making decisions
* Having memory problems
* Feeling worthless and guilty
* Losing interest or pleasure in activities you used to enjoy
* Withdrawing from friends and family
* Having headaches, aches and pains, or stomach problems that don’t go away

Postpartum depression:

*  Tired after delivery
* Tired from a lack of sleep or broken sleep
* Overwhelmed with a new baby
* Doubts about your ability to be a good mother
* Stress from changes in work and home routines
* An unrealistic need to be a perfect mom
* Loss of who you were before having the baby
* Less attractive
* A lack of free time

Its hard to say if you have post-partum depression seeing as how women experience it after the baby is born - some symptoms include depression, anxiety, thoughts about harming your child, exhaustion, not feeling love towards your child or a bond, etc. What your most likely going through since your still pregnant is normal anxiety and nerves. Its normal to freak out before the baby comes and be scared of being a bad mother - every parent goes through that. Its the fear of unknown, but it gets better.
