Are there symptoms of blood poisoning?

My friend is scared now, she cut herself with a rusty metal, and it scraped a layer of skin then she found herself bleeding pretty badly. I told her to clean it immediately and look out for a red line. She freaked out and asked why..and now she is scared…

Has she gotten the tetanus shot this year? Symptoms would be skin discoloration (red blood spots that begin to look like bruises), fever, loss of appetite, and blood pressure drops

I’ve asked her and she said no, she did when she was younger though I told her that may not help now.. She did felt dizzy and I began to see some spots and I rushed her to the ER with her mom and I was positively right and she did and got treatment immediately.

You did good by bringing her to the ER. Just make sure she gets the tetanus shots and if the metal isn’t needed, then get rid of it

Yeah I suggested that and so did the doctor as well,thank you soo much for answering this! I couldn’t find really that much detail on other sites that quick.
