I want to have swimming as my other after school activity...Is it a good exercise? And what should I expect?
Swimming is great exorcise, it uses most muscles in your body, and also streangthens your lungs and heart. You can expect what you put in... If you want to take it gentle, expect slower, but longer swimgs, with long strides, which will put straine on your arms and legs... If you want to move things fast, you will feel hte burn on your lungs and legs... The best thing about swimming is, as long as you CAN swim, your in complete controle.
Swimming is a super good exercise. If you can swim in many ways, you can even save yourself from drawning.
Swimming is one of the top 5 best workouts. Apparentely walking is the top one.
Yeah, it'll give you a crazy workout...and it will be really tough for a while
