Why is it that when I try to swallow tablets they get stuck in my chest then I feel like I'm gonna be sick?

Answer #1

The most likely cause is that you’re not drinking enough water to help push them down. If you have trouble swallowing pills, try crushing them first.

Answer #3

A REALLY great way of swallowing pills is to put them in your mouth at the back of your throat, preferably as far as possible because you taste it the least this way. And then quickly drink from a water bottle and squeeze it so that the water jets down your throat, forcing the pill down. You don’t have to swallow or anything it’s great :D I used this when I had to swallow pills because I was never able to swallow them with a glass :) Hope I Helped :)

Answer #4

You need to drink water when swallowing tablets/pills. If it gets stuck you could try eating piece of bread to push it down.

Answer #5

I agree, bread works good when they stick :-)

Answer #6

I find the easiest way to take pills is I put them in my daily yogurt and swallow them with a big spoonful. The go right down, no stick, no problems.

Answer #7

You just need more water or juice or whatever it is that you use to get them down. Sometimes if you just crush them and drink it with a little bit of water and then drink more it’s easier for those who have trouble taking them and stuff. But, just drink a lot of water after you drink it and keep drinking it till you let go of that feeling.
