Why would I all of a sudden be getting headaches?
Ok, so I know that this is probably not the best question to ask on the net, but I have been getting headaches recently in the afternoons, after class, for no apparent reason. I am well hydrated, have stopped drinking caffeine a while ago and am not overly tired.
I will be seeing a doctor if they persist, but it has only been a week and I am NOT a headache sufferer at all and I have been in good health recently. And they only occur between 1pm and about 4 pm (they get really bad, almost like a migraine and then disapear just as suddenly as I got them)
Do you think that stress can suddenly cause me to magically get headaches, even though I am always stressed but have never had this as a symptom?
It could be from sudden stress or possibly your beginning to suffer from migrianes. The best thing would be to see your doctor.
Because of the timing, it does sound slightly psychosomatic (of course, you know that only a doctor can rule out a physical cause). Yes, stress can cause headaches to appear in people that usually don’t have headaches. If they’re so closely connected to class, maybe that’s something to look at? Get it looked at if they dont go away. Headaches can be a symptom of some not so nice things, and it tends to be the one people most ignore.
It sounds like you should see your doctor if they are that bad so they can test to make sure everything is ok, or atleast give you something to help with the pain when they occur. I used to get headaches like that at a certain time in the day. For me, it was related to the weather, in particular, warm northwest winds
