Ohh, well, it really would depend on the colors you use. Painting, if you use acrylics or oils and such, tend to have a bright and vibrant color which may not go well with regular pencil. If I were to do that, I would probably make sure that the pencil part is nice and dark, high contrast, and then paint using muted colors or somewhat muted colors, or perhaps watercolor instead.
no i think that sounds super cool i love when different utensils are used together! But since you want the picture to stand out the most not the background (im just guessing) I would use paint for the picture since its darker and will stand out more and then pencil or whatever you using for the background
like draw the subject with regular pencil then paint its background, so the subject will be black and white and its background will be colorful
There is no such word as stupid for art, you can even hang your picture upside down :) Be creative and there you make the break through.
Do you mean to draw the subject of your picture and then the background?
