Could it be the other way around?
I think the reason they keep soft drinks in cans is because the aluminum doesn't degrade against the acid in the soda. I noticed that sodas sold in plastic bottles are generally thicker than the water bottles so the acid might have something to do with it. Also, a bottle of water is usually two servings, whereas those cans are only one serving. By being one serving, the company tries to get you to purchase more of that soda in a way. It's all just a big psychological marketing scheme to buy more soda. :P
Soda? We don't actually have 'soda' as you do in the US/Canada etc. We have sprite lemonade and coke and stuff. We also have L&P which is an NZ drink XD
I think plastic is the bigger issue... It's not biodegradable like metals are. I'd go with full cans but honestly, it's a pain in the arse to open. :(
OR Both can be in bottles and use the money they use to make the cans on education and possibly more environment friendly cars and/or homes.
Come to think of it, it could but honestly, it's tradition, I wouldn't wanna drink water from a can anyway, it's just not worth the hassle!
Gatorade is icky now : \ It's all watery. And I can't open gatorade Dx I get my dad to do it.
I can't open gatorade bottles, they peel my skin... :S but I still have to have gatorade!
In NZ we have cans of water and bottles of soda >.< Except we don't call it soda. lol.
Oh wow! O: I would've just gotten another bottle. I'm too lazy to go get pliers haha.
Not the ones my mother buy! :D I love those, which is why I drank all of em? lol...
I actually had to use pliers to open a bottle of soda, it was on there tight.
Bottle caps are so hard to open D: Both of them are awful- I'm too weak -.-
Bottle caps are easy to open, everyone has had pain opening the cans.
you can get canned water at warped tour haha.
