How do I stop letting my dad take advantage of me?

That’s out of the question.. I love my dad, and I don’t mind helping him out, but he never pays me back.. :(That’s the only problem.. I don’t know, I’m too soft I guess.

Don’t talk to him for awhile. Don’t give in! Be the better person and ignore him.

You guys don’t understand.. I’m not going to stop talking to my dad… I just don’t know what to do or say to him .. =(

In that case, and yes i looove my dad too. Sit him down, and first say, dad we need to talk. And say how you hate him mistreating you in the manner of money there and etc. You have to be alone with him so he isn’t distracted, so he understands (hopefully) what he’s doing to you.

Say NO…any father who borrow’s money from his child, and then doesn’t feel obligated to pay it back, should be treated like the child HE IS BEING. Say no, sorry dad, you didn’t pay me back last time, and you’re the one who’s supposed to be supporting me.

You need to say no. Tell him you would love to help him out but after the money you already gave him, you don’t have any more extra to give.

You should also expect that if you lone him money he will never pay you back. It’s OK to ask for it back, but don’t expect it.

TELL HIM YOU CANT GIVE HIM AGIAN AND HE SUPOSE TO BE GIVING YOU

I completely agree with this, no parent should have to rely on their child.
