Hi.. I was faced with this with my two girls, the law… Both your parents have what is called PR, Parent responsibility regardles of who has custody,, either one of them are allowed to take there children out of the country for 2 weeks anything more than 2 weeks than your parents will need to get writon permistion from the other one.. Now I do know that if you travel to mexico they have said that they like to see a letter of permision if only one parent is traverling with children under 16yrs… I took my 2 girls without this letter and I had know problems what so ever, the day I left for mexico I posted a letter to my ex girls dad, and said that I was off on holiday with the girls and that they will be back 2 weeks later, I would recomend you at least tell him as you wouldnt want to be on the missing list with the police and then face charges for waisting police time, should you send a letter the day you leave just make sure its recorded delivery that way the letter is signed for.. Have a really good holiday… I did with my girls..

well, I wud try sitting him down and tell him the advantages and why you desire to go. give him your moms number or whoever you will be staying with and promise to call, tell him that you r aware that leaving the country cud be dangerous however you will be with responsible adults. also tell him that what he is doing is unfair to u, you need to see your mother and make that known!!!
