Trush (otherwise called candida) is a common infection among woman and very difficult to get rid of. ( you can get it from having sex too, but it’s actually just a common infection that women get)

The causes vary from person to person, but in general: The main causes are:

  • Taking antibiotics regularly.
  • Unhealthy diet.

Other causes of thrush.

  • Douching
  • Birth control pill
  • washing with scented soaps
  • bath oils - such as baby oil or other oils in your bath
  • Diabetes

So if you change your diet - eating more healthy and take better care of your body overall you should get rid of it. If you’ve been tested and everything is clear, then you can assume that it’s not an STI.
