Is it okay if your stepmother hits you in the face for saying a dirty word?

Answer #1

I think it is…as long as it wasn’t abusively hard. If it was, than report it to someone.

Answer #2

I don’t think it’s okay for parnets to hit their children. There are ohter ways to discipline children.

Answer #3

I don’t feel like it is ever “okay” to hit another person. There are many different ways to resolve issues or discipline children that don’t involve physical methods.

If saying such words is something your parents agree is bad then you should work on not doing this again, but I think that this issue may be something you should sit down with your father and have a chat about.

Answer #4

a person should only hit a child unless the child absolutely deserves it.. but in your case a simple “please don’t talk like that ever again” will do just fine.. if i were you i would’ve smacked her right back dont let her treat you like that, that’s waaayyy over the edge.

Answer #5

no that’s only for the parents to do. If your actual parent doesn’t know yet i think you should tell them.

Could it be that she got triggered and couldn’t control herself because you not only said such a word, but directed it at her personally, calling her a nasty name? That might at least make it understandable, if not “okay.”
