Is starbucks owned by Jewish people?

Answer #1

From what I understand, yes. At least once upon a time it was owned by the Jewish people. Hope this heps.

Answer #2

Neither Starbucks nor any other business enterprise is “owned by the Jewish people” as SexyPenguinGal suggests.

Starbucks was founded by a partnership of three men, one of whom has a clearly Jewish (Hebrew language) name. The other two, I don’t know about. They sold it in 1985 to a member of their managerial team, who is also Jewish. He ran the company until 2000, and returned to run it again in 2008. However, Starbucks became a publicly traded company in 1992, and has been owned by its stockholders for the nearly 20 years since then.

I’m curious, Gish, what makes this question a meaningful one for you?

Answer #3

What the hell? Who cares if the owners are Jewish. As Hayyim says, that are a publicly owner company, but why are you asking?

Answer #4

because i like to party.

Answer #5

Who cares? I like their coffee. If someone earns my money, they get it.
