when speaking japanese, what's the difference between boku no and watashi no?

Answer #1

watashi no in american what does she know

Answer #2

I thought that boku was a male way of saying “I”.

But that’s just going on what my best friend mentioned to me in passing once (she said that she talks in the male form. i dont know. it made me laugh…. six years and my bff is a transvestite?)

Answer #3

both males and females can use watashi but boku is only used by males
