I've always wanted to know because I want to know if I am able to get stuff from Korea & Japan.
Wow. That level of cluelessness actually exists. So much for evolution. Just because people work in an asian store does not mean they cannot speak english. It is quite common around the world (the U.S. being the exception) for people to be bilingual (see that means they speak two languages). And here are a list of korean markets. Perhaps before dismissing something, you should do your research (which is something I do before answering questions) http://funadvice.com/r/1531bq3o1j9
Yes you can. I subscribe to "The Gramophone" which comes directly from England. And, last year I was able to purchase a specal book/magazine from a Japanese publisher thru their Internet site even tho' their site indicated that they were unable to ship this book outside of Asia: so policies do change form time to time. And we have had, from time to time, magazines (and news papers) sent directly fron North Korea!
Um...that's the thing, I wouldn't be able to understand a word he/she was saying, we don't have a market. Also I wouldn't know what language it was so yeah...that option is pretty much not realistic.
You can, but you have to check with the policy for the particular magazine ... some are willing to send material outside of their area, while others won't.
Or instead of paying hundreds of dollars in shipping fees, you can go to your local asia/korean store/market and just pick up magazines from there.
Yeah I live in China and we get the New York Times! You just to find a supplier or a shop that sells foreign stuff.
yes, my mom goes to the asian shops in new york to keep updated with the stuff that's happening in asia
We don't have any markets, and I want to be able to talk in their language to be polite.
The only way is to check online and use the "contact" link to ask them.
So how do I get this information and stuff.
Okay, thanks Ms.Ludgate.
Yes you can
