Yes the volume is on. I see the little thing going up and down and I have it set on "Speakers and Headphones". Does anyone have a clue what's wrong with it?
Open Device Manager and search for the drivers online.
If you are unable to do so then i would suggest to take help of a software that will search for the drivers online.
Visit http://funadvice.com/r/c0bmm6tedgj for free scan online. Its a good tool that will retrieve a list if is their missing or outdated drivers in your PC.
If still problem occurs then try fixing windows registry.
Ah, there could be several issues (I use to have one of the Pavilion laptops) that said - you could have the sound on mute, you could need to download a bit of software, and/or something might be broken or disconnected. I suggest troubleshooting the issue and attempting the suggested solutions before anything else.
I downloaded the extra software a while ago and still nothing also I've ran the troubleshoot and it says everything is fine. So unfortunetly as I also thought, there must be something wrong with the hardware. Thanks for confirming my suspicions :)
restart whatever you have it plugged into, if its a computer change the default audio to the correct ones.
Well.... it could be busted.... or you have a volume slider at the side of the laptop....
