Of the all or most of the Propositions in California ... I've been looking them up online but I would like a brief explanation to then after reading 3 pages of information on each Prop I would like a short and sweet overall conclusion. Thank You OBAMA "08"
Here are all the ballot propositions for CA this year.
Prop 1 - Transportation - 9.95 billion bond for high-speed rail
Prop 2 - Animal Rights - Regulations on animal confinement practices
Prop 3 - Health/Medical - $980 million in bonds for children’s hospitals
Prop 4 - Abortion - Waiting period and parental notification before minors obtain abortions
Prop 5 - Law enforcement - Treatment for youth; rehab and shorter parole for nonviolent adult drug offenders
Prop 6 - Law enforcement - Increase crime prevention programs, harsher penalties on crime
Prop 7 - Environment - Promotes use of alternative fuels by requiring utilities to get half of their power from solar energy by 2025.
Prop 8 - Marriage - Eliminates the right of same-sex couples to marry
Prop 9 - Law enforcement - Laws governing treatment crime victims and parole procedures
Prop 10 - Environment - Promotes use of alternative fuels the same as Prop 7 except it focuses on wind power.
Prop 11 - Election reform - Independent commission to draw legislative district boundaries
Prop 12 - Bond issue - $900 million in bonds for home, farm purchasing assistance for vets
She's wanting a BRIEF explanation for each of the propositions in California's Nov 4 election rather than the 3 page explanations.
