No they do not bring disease. Although snakes are a very different type of pet. If you want something to play with, cuddle with you, do tricks etc, a snake is not going to give you that kind of unconditional love.
They do not give diseases though.

I would avoid snakes that get too big. Even my pet will someday get too big, but…since I captured it wild, …I’ll ease it back into the wild when that happpens.
