Would not sleeping enough make you more hungry than usual?

Answer #1

I don’t think so. I never ever sleep. I have insomnia and I just never liked sleeping anyway.

I also rarely eat. I’ll eat a giant meal one day and then not eat for three days.

So i don’t think so. But maybe it does for some people.

Answer #2

Answer #4

Yes and no. Not getting enough sleep in general won’t make you more hungry, BUT you’re more likely to eat because you’re up and concious. Get what I mean? If you’re asleep you won’t know that you’re hungry because you’re not really aware of anything going on. On the other side if you’re awake during part of the eight hours you should be sleeping your body’s going to tell you it needs fuel obviously. :)

Answer #5

No, if you didn’t eat much during the day, your food craving will be high.

Answer #6

Yhea that’s why insomniacs eat like crazy!!!

Answer #7

It’s possible your eating more to give you energy as a compensation for not sleeping.
