Why does your skin get red if you pinch/slap/squeeze it?

The blood would be constricted when you press it, then it comes back.. But why redder? I don’t get it :|

Answer #1

It does with cuz skin is sensitive

Answer #2

okay, think of a hicky. Hickies are usually made when you kiss/suck/bite on one’s skin. The blood contracts and fills the the tissues underneath the skin. When the skin gets red it is because you have pinched/ slapped or squeezed the skin enough to burst blood vessels beneath the skin which makes the appearance of the skin to become red. Usually bruises by pinching or squeezing it go away after a week or less.

Answer #3

I suppose it’s because you’re messing with the way your blood is underneath it.
