Skateboards

I want to start skating, and I need a board. I was thinking about buying an Osprey board, is this a good brand? If not, can you recommend me a good board to start on please, preferably one that is affordable :P (like 15 - 35 pounds preferably) any other advice on learning to skate would also be great

Not so much. Get a cheap board.. I mean not like a walmart board, but something so if you dont like it, then it didnt cost you that much. Don’t go for top brands, get an element, or ask a friend or person you know if they have any hardware or a deck that you could have or buy off them cheap. My first board was an element. As for learning- Hangout with people that skate, its a great way to learn how to skate, and they are most likely a lot better than you, which is good because they can teach you, its better to learn from somene(like a friend, cousin, etc) than to buy a movie or watch youtube videos trying to learn to skate. You should learn a lot quicker getting help from a real person rather than movies or a book… Goodluck, if you have any more questions about skating feel free to ask. =]
