Where can I go to get skateboard training?

what skateboard brands do you like best?

im thinkin of getting up at 6am each morning to train for football/soccer for an hour or so as I am always wanting to improve...

This may be a dump question but I seriously wonder,how do professional skateboarders get paid? And I don't mean just by skate...
