Should I try to change my look for my friends?
Im not really all that girly and I was comfortable with myself and my appearence.A few months ago a friend of mine took me to town to get stuff for an uncoming party and decided I needed help.She called me her “project” and started taking credit when I wore pink or did my make-up.Then I was hanging out with a different girl who decided I desperatly needed a make-over.She took me to get a hair cut and did my nails and my make-up.Now whenever anything comes up she calls me to her house and does my hair, nail, and eyebrows. It kind of annoys me, butthey only mean well. Should I put in an effort to change for them?

No. You shouldnt change for someone else. The only person you should change for is yourself. if your comfortable with who you are,then you should say “no” to changing,and they should respect that.
Dear lostourist, Part of growing up is saying “no” if you are comfortable with the way you are and others want to change you, you must say “no”. True friends will accept you for the way you are and will respect you for being who you are. Not every girl likes to have her nails done, wear makeup etc. That doesn’t make you less of a girl…in fact it makes you more confident in who you are and that’s a admirable trait.
